Last fishing trip of 2025

Got all the Christmas stuff packed away, cold front on the way for New Years Eve, I decided to go surf fishing today. Didn’t get lines in the water till noon. Caught 2 whiting in 2 hours. Brought home some supper and the weather was great. 72*,light offshore breeze and bluebird skies.

No pictures,just trying to wake up the fishing section.

And the cat got some fresh scraps

Good for you but what state are you in ? I don’t think you’re in nj. It’s to cold here. Even though I use to fish in very cold weather from the long branch fishing pier. Years and years and years ago. Caught many whiting and ling off that pier.
