Thanks
thanks for all teh prayers and well wishes. Ya'll don't know how much this group of boat nuts and this site mean to me. Back when Kendall was first showing signs of being sick and we didn't know what was wrong with her, they were trying to rule out alergeic reactions(it was first diagnosed as a GI issue). We had to feed her with a g-tube and a pump that went into her stomach(did this for a year). We had to mix up a hypoalergenic mush for the pump for her food. It took about 20 min for the stuff to pump into her stomach. I had first feeding and last feeding duties of the day. The last feeding would end up later than midnight. After the pump finished I would have to flush the lines and her G-tube before going to bed. If left un flushed, the mush would stop up the lines and back to the hospital we'd have to go, so it was imperative to flush her g-tube after every feeding. I spent a lot of time on the internet trying to stay awake so I'd flush the line when she was done. I was helping a good friend of mine with a Seacraft so I was on the Seacraft site alot. It amazed me the general attitude of the people on there, what a bunch of a-holes. I had come to expect it from our local fishing web site, but didn't expect it from dedicated boat enthusiast. One night I had some one I was advising about his mercruiser 165 6 cylnder. Don't know what set him off, but he posted a long drawn out line of dribble criticizing my spelling and grammer, apparantly he'd never heard of wind talking. It just hit me wrong, this guy didn't know anything about me or my family, or what we were going thru, I wasn't looking for sympathy, I was just sharing my 24 years of being a professional boat mechanic and was trying to give him some good advise. I was about to fall asleep typing, which would account for some of my spelling and grammer issues, but who cares? I started to flame his a$$ with a response, but just responded with "never mind". This was about the time I bought my V and had found this site, I never looked back. Sadly, I still haven't had time to finish my V(I did finish the Mckee though), but I enjoy posting on this site every chance I get. I've visited a bunch of boat sites, and am a memeber on several. I'd have to say this is the best group of people on any of them. My familly and I have been through quite a lot the past four years, its been a great for me to have a place to unwind. My self and my familly both appreaciate the support, prayers, well wishes, and general companionship of the V20 site. Thanks to all of ya'll.
PS, don't forget to visit the Caring Bridge, Couragious Kidz and Camp Happy Days sites.
Deystroyer, I'll see if I can find the pics to the chemo bell, my wife rotated them out of the pics on the caring bridge site.
