Yep, dinner was tasty.  I figure if I fish long enough I'll get rid of that bottom paint, at least below the water line.
 
What no fish head soup??

It really sucks, to have gotten my boat all straight, and now there is no fish and cold as hell!! :'(
 
MJ, take solace in the fact that you are indeed ready to go. Them fluke don't stand a chance next year. Even if there is a 28" minmum and two fish per day ;D

Fluke for me is 14" and 200 pound a day,

Striper are 2 at 28 for rec.

34" for commercial, & 30 fish a day on Tue, Wed, Thur

Thats why I keep my permits!! I hate only being able to catch 2 or 7 or 3 what ever they limited us to here!! ;)
 
Ah, I forgot you had hook & line...Looks they they are going to hammer the recs on flounder this year :(

I'm heading to Oregon Inlet a little less than 1 week from today. 11 of us going on 3 boats. I hope the birds look like mini tornados ;D

Nice fish Slot, I have been out for stripers about 10 times now and have'nt caught a fish yet >:(. In all fairness either has anyone else on the trips I have been on. I've tried it all fresh bunker, clam bellies, top, bottom, fishfinder rig, you name it. I've tried fishing at all different phases of the tide as well as multiple spots. I have chunked and tied a chum bag to my anchor and nothing ???. I'm hoping to get the skunk off during the spring run :-/.
