It's going to be going down around freezing

and I'm wondering if I need to do anything to my new Suzuki 4-stroke.

In the past my boat has always stayed in the water year-round, and I've never winterized because the boat was in use and water temps never got so low. But doing some necessary scupper repair and seeing as how I'm not going to have much free time in December I'm keeping her on the trailer at work (a few miles inland) until the first of the year. Typically get a few nights around freezing or a little below in December.

Do I need to take steps to prevent any possible damage? Kinda embarrassed to ask this, but in all these years I've never had to deal with it. Thanks.

As far as I know the only thing you need to do is keep your engine in a vertical position so all water drains out of it. :head:
