so here we are, getting ready for the drive to florida. the plan was to leave at 3:00am Thursday morning and go all the way. well, my 12 year old had other plans. he came home with a stomach bug and proceeded to pass it around the house. my wife has it now and the rest of us are kind of done with it. she doesn't know if she can get up at 2 or 3 and sit in the car if she still has symptoms.
before this, my little one brought this home two or three years ago. this was the first time I had thrown up in about 30 years. I forgot how much fun it is.

I know the feeling. I had a whole weekend of work planned out this last weekend, and it got me Friday night. That was the first time I had thrown up in probably 3 years, and it wasn't fun.

the whole family got it a couple weeks ago, I'm slammed with work, knowing I really didn't need to get sick, I made my mind up i didn't have time for it. I started getting a little woozie, I drank a couple Mt. Dew throwbacks, ate a sinkers and dove hard in on some work, when i got home, I was feeling cocky, the rest of the family was just getting over the stomach bug, i was still sure I wouldn't. I ordered General Chicken with extra hot mustard and picked up a 12 pack of ale. I figured if i was going to go, I'd do it in style. The hot mustard must have helped. i felt great the rest of the week, never got sick. Some times having the right attitude helps. Charlie, put a bucket in your wifes lap, tell her to keep it down, you have a beach to sit on by sun down and have at it

I got it last year... Fun, fun, fun... I remembered my college years of throwing up late at night... Hmmm.... remembered hell, I experienced them again. The only good thing about it all is that it goes through your system fast... a few days and you're bask to normal. Nothing to do about it but wait it out...

Sorry to hear that CTT. My buddy at work was suppose to leave last Wednesday morning for Clearwater Florida for his 30th wedding anniversary and him and his wife and daughter came down with the same bug Tuesday. I think he finaly went Thursday.
