I have a new rant.

I go to ihop for the special as advertised $6.00 for pancakes, bacon, eggs. Not bad I said. Do you want coffee with that. Of course.
I get the bill and it’s $21.94. Over $6.50 for one small pot of ok coffee and two cups What happened to the special. The special is now $7.00 each. Plus on the bill it suggested the tip ( what B/S is that) I’m a good tipper if the service is good. And it was. But they are telling me what to give? How about paying them more money and forget about the tip. I will give what I want. With tip. The whole bill was 26.00. For the special I gave them a tip. You will never see my butt in here again.

Subway is now automatically asking how much you want to tip when using a credit/debit. Don't those people get paid? A footlong sub is like $15 or more already. I can eat at the local family buffet, with fried chicken, country ham, every veggie imaginable, salad, and desert for that. When you go to grab a sandwich and the bill comes to $20 or more something is wrong. Subway has not been good for a good while now anyway. SMH

Hey blue I’m not a cheap person. I actually tip very good IF the service is good. But when they tell me what I should tip I have a tip for them. Pay your employees more money and let the customer decide how much to give. Me and my wife don’t go out to rest very often. And now. I’m not. These restaurants are out of control. I’m so glad my wife agrees with me she even said. I will never go to IHOP again. As far as subway. The last time I are there was about 20 years ago. Now you’re saying they charge that much? Not for me. I’m a retired truck driver and the best coffee I have got is from a gas station. Good coffee. Under 2 dollars. More like $1.69 and good. They are taking advantage of us. But not me.

Last time I was at IHOP. We ordered and sat there for 45 min. It was empty. Got up and told the waitress we don't have all day to sit here waiting on out food. As we got in truck we saw the food being delivered to our table. No tip that time.

I’m happy to see you guys swearing off of IHOP. Long story short, many years ago, we did some work for them, and they were the slimiest most dishonest cheating pond scum to collect from in over 45 years I’ve had my construction company. ONE example, and the last time I did anything for them, we boarded up a closed restaurant, got the runaround for many weeks and had to tell them I was sending my guys to reclaim “OUR” plywood off of their windows, and the vandals were going to love it, to get a check.

Have you seen the ads on TV for Wendy's $1 biscuits? I saw it a couple of nights in a row, so yesterday I went to Wendy's on my way to work (which I never do), didn't see it on the drive-thru board so I asked the person behind the speaker about it. She said, after much mumbling and hesitation, "Oh, we don do dat no more." Huh? So I drove away, all the healthier.

A friggin biscuit, it probably cost them 10 cents to make. And Dey don doo tat no Moore. Give me a break Wendy’s
They did you a favor. I go to a bagel store in nj and they do have very good bagels but I went there one time and got a coffee and a toasted bagel and it was almost 5 dollars, really? Do you know why? I got butter on the bagel and they charged a dollar or more. I can’t remember. A dollar or more for a little butter? So now when I do go there I get my bagels to go and toast it home. With all the butter I want. I could see charging 50 cents more but over a buck, no way Jose
