Hey Pipe, I found the cushions

Hey Pipe,

My magnificent wife was helping me clear out my shop storage and found the cushions. They've been bagged and stored for at least 15 years, and are a little dirty. If you need them cleaned up as good as they'll get before deciding if it's worth the shipping, I'm happy to do that - just wanted you to have a preliminary look.

The Worst-Under Sides photo shows a very small cigarette burn on the left cushion. On that cushion, I'm not sure the discolored spots close to the burn will come out. The upholstery on the square center cushions is permanently attached, so when I was still using them, I was concerned they might mold if water got in, and I drilled the vent holes.

Best-Top Sides photo shows that they're needing cleaning, and I think the spot similar to the other one on the one that probably won't come out is the same.

That's pretty full disclosure. Please let me know how you want to proceed.

Thanks - Scott

PS Not only did I get a LOT of cleaning out done in the shop and found the cushions, but this is my first photo posting - it's so easy, I don't know why I haven't done it sooner.

Bonus photo - We just did our second annual father, son and grandson camping trip and 7 yr old Daniel caught his first fish. First time using his rod & reel, made a nice long cast, kept the line tight and landed a nice trout, which was delicious for dinner.Best-Top Sides.jpegWorst-Under Sides.jpegView recent photos.JPEG

Congrats on the camping trip and Daniel’s first fish. Getting the cushions was a nice bonus also.

Now that u have the pic posting down, looking forward to more.

You just made a memory in that 7yr olds mind that will be with him long after you have left the stage Scott. Nice work Grandpa! I can still recall with great clarity my first fish, surf-casting the north shore on Long Island with a family friend, with a rod he custom built for me. Yup, still have that rod and reel. Congrats on the cushion find, the fish, and the memories created.
