Agree…to me the ONLY reason to go twins is the “get home” factor when running offshore…love these boats, and there’s always stories of extremes, but any 20’ is quite limited by wind, sea and fuel capacity in terms of overall offshore use. Smart thing on these boats is a good, reliable single in the 150 - 200 HP range.Twin nineties would weigh more than one 200. I just remember that boat looking so cool with the 130s. I think maximum horsepower from the brochures says 150? Smart thing is a 200

twin 45 Chryslers, I think I've heard it all now!I used to fish in the 70’s with a retired Coast Guard/Merchant Marine guy. He had a 16ft FiberForm with twin 45 Chryslers. He said he wouldn’t go out in a boat with only one engine.
