Now he's enrolled Jimmy Buffett presumably to help out with the party planning.
The "Margaritaville" singer is the latest music star to back the Obama campaign, announcing plans for a free get-out-the-vote concert in the battleground state of Florida.
Buffett will headline the Last Chance for Change rally at Tampa's Ford Amphitheatre on Sunday, two days before the election.
Fans can score two free tickets by visiting Obama information tables around Tampa Bay; additional info is available online at www.FL.BarackObama.com.

TAMPA – Two days before Election Day, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2, the legendary Jimmy Buffett will hold a free concert in Tampa to support Barack Obama’s Campaign for Change.
A Florida resident, Buffett will perform for thousands of Florida voters – for free – to urge them to cast their votes for Barack Obama on Tuesday, November 4. Obama’s Campaign for Change encourages voters to cast their ballots during Early Voting, which ends Saturday, November 1 in most counties.

What, no free Buffett beverages??

Don't know why I can't get over movie stars and singers from being activists.
Fleetwood Mac
Jackson Brown
Charlie Daniels
Hank Williams Jr
Well the list is actually endless. But the one I get most entertained with and for some reason not pissed off with is Ted Nugent. Maybe it's his factual definations and nonstop conversation on the subject at hand.

Or maybe it's just because he really pisses people off and enjoys it!
