great day at the beach

welll, got too late of a start to put the boat in the water, decided to go over to mexico beach and see if the pompano run had started. also listen to the fsu and florida game.

Nice job. Looks fairly calm there. Darn windy all weekend down here in central FL. I aint sure if the Gators suck or blow, they simply can't win.. Seminoles biggest win of the year was Thur. night when Oregon got beat.
Tasty treats. Hope you got a box full.. Sand fleas? crabs? what for bait?

that was the only pompano i caught, run is very late this year, if it happens at all. all that fresh water from july rains have really screwed up the traditional fishing runs. flounder have not rally showed up yet either. got him on a frozen sand flea.
