hey maco you sh1tting me?? head out about 5 to 10 when the gulf stream moves in and catch the old lady some dolphin. we get em real close down here by mid to late summer. sometimes just a few miles out... sure they are pretty small but go get you a dozen or so 2-3 pounders and have a dam feast.

Pipe, I swear when I read ''Fresh Dolphin" you had a story about a porpoise comin' up beside "Pipe Dream" and propositionin' your WIFE!! :o ;D ;D ;D

I'd just as soon have grilled mahi as anything I can think of...we were gonna go after some the other day, but Mother Ocean just wouldn't lay down for us... :'(...there'll be another day soon ;D...time to pack the bean bags!! ;) ;D ;D...

I have heard of a few around here, but have always thought it to be like at the Canyons or something??

O well I have no idea were they be and I think it will be to far for me at $3 a gal for gas!

I will buy it cheaper!

I have a friend who owns a 28' Southport and he called me last night . If we get decent weather we are going to the Stream on Sunday . Those who have been out as of late have been crushing the yellow fin , wahoo and dolphin . Right now it's just the two of us and it is a 60+ mile run . fuel cost X .5 = $$ . But what do I care , I'm paying $300 a month storage and can't even get my boat put in the water .

Llabi, got a bro-in-law down in Wilmington. I'll be down there some time soon. He just had a baby a few months back and bought a house too. Things should be settling down enough for him to get out. I'll be taking my boat down. Shouldn't there be mahi in the 15 mile range in June/July, maybe?

I'll let you know when I'm headed down. Maybe we'll bump into each other 8)

There should be lots of dolphin in the 10-12 mile range by then if not closer by then . Let me know when you are giong to be down this way , we can try our luck with them. Try to join Capt. Reelapeelin and myself in June if you can .
