Re: For Sale   Old School

Bother Willy,
Sorry to see you sell. Would have posted earlier, but my fingers were to numb to type on the key board because I dont have a enclosure. ;D Hint, Hint ;D.
Nah, really though, I couldnt log in on my home computer. Is it my computer or is anyone else having the same problem ??.
She's a sweat V Willy. Know how you feel with the neck. My neck is still screwed up. My patrol car never had a cage. i was happy not having one either, i'm so long legged. Now, its a pain to look left to right since I'm so crunched in now. Out looking at property and need quick cash myself for a house. Still debating to sell some dive gear or the V. Wish the best of luck Brother. ;)

Thanks Hammer I always hated them cages, we have had them for a long time, hated them until one day some wise guy started spitting on me and I did a brake check for him. Just to make sure he was safe you know, or I think it was a dog running across the road, something like that ;)
He had a lovely pattern on his face that the nurse in the ER could not quite place.

And CB what the heck his sawping spit anyhow, I need an interpertation again ;D

Re: For Sale   Old School

I'm not sure if that's the Wind Talker in him or the Clam Whisperer ;D ;D ;D

He's been in rare form with the Wind Talking lately though don't you think?

Re: For Sale   Old School

RODNEY KING RODNEY KING!!! tell ya what, sell me that enclosure and i wont report you to internal affairs for excessive force, lol. stay away from the enclosure hammer. you could come under investigation for conspiracy and accessorie after the fact!

just kiddin guys, put the mace away. that is a beautiful boat though. and i do like the top. where did you get it and, if you dont mind me asking, what did it cost?

Re: For Sale   Old School

RacerX, I moved up to a tazer gun, flamable mace and a lighter. Back off on my bim top. LOl, ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I did not buy it, came on the boat, few years old. I have not even used the side curtains never needed them to date. I use the front piece all the time, keeps all the wind off while running and keeps the cockpit just perfect temp wise with the open sides. It has to be really howling and a good sea and me having to travel the wrong direction before I get any spray with that boat. I would use it if fishing in Nov. for stripes and that is about it.

Re: For Sale   Old School

i would like to get some performance numbers for that little 115, when you have time. she is a beautiful boat but, i am all the way down in ms. where are you located? wife in chicago till the 21'st. if you still have the boat i will talk to her about it then. dont get ur hopes up, yet. and surely dont pass up any reasonable offers. i figured a job wrong last week and have been debating on wether or not to refund the money. thing is, the price i gave is somewhat competetive with the post katrina prices down here. he aint askin for money, he was fine with the price i gave him and that is what we agreed i would do the project for. now, it's a question of do i want ur boat for free?
also, thier is a growing trend around here of this and that being for sale, till i go to buy it. then its another story. so i'll check with you around the 20'th before i talk to my wife. let me know then if you realy wanna sell it. i say i got a 50 50 shot at talking her into it, if i ask with diamonds(i mean diamonique, she'll never know)

Racer it is definetly for sale, as far as performance this is what I know, with three guys, full tank of gas coolers and all the other fishing regalia along with the enclosure front up GPS says I am doing 32 mph.
Two things in ref to that, I have a standard Aluminum 15/17 prop and I think that there might be a better prop for my set up because under that load I max at 5200 RPM. Which my manual says is in the range but I believe 5500-5600 would be better. Second the only place I am even capable of using that motor is at the shore, Raritan Bay to be exact and I have yet to ever fish there on a day where I would be able to open her up for any length of time due to the condtions and my neck. The other end of that is that 115 launches that boat to plane with the standard prop very quick. As quick as my Robalo 1820 CC with Merc 150 did, also when I do the big tube thing with two or three big kids on and the other kids and CEO in the boat it is effortless for it. I do credit the Armstrong Bracket with some of that performance, how much I don't know.
One thing I do know is I filled the tank last month with gas and fished from early morning hours to dark with a full crew and load, running all over the place trying to find fish in all the wrong places, then took the kids to Lake Hopatcong and had a day of tubing fishing and cruising, used the boat for about four hours on Round Valley reservoir looking for Lakers then went to fill up this past sunday to go out for the day on the bay and it took 28 gallons. Thats right 28 gallons.
Don't know if it that is good compared to others but for me that is the norm with this engine.
I should also say one day when I first got the boat last year I was on the bay and close to Sandy Hook and the water was like glass at dead high tide and I got 35 mph with it trimed up higher than I would normally run.

Thanks Pipe, I'm trying to post pics like Blue told me but the photo is not opening as a pic just a link.

Tin Blue told me a way to do it from the gallery, I thought I understood but apparently not :-/

OK, here is what I did.

Went to the gallery and clicked on a pic. All good. Then I right-click on the picture and select properties. From there I copy the Address (URL) and paste it in the post. In the post, just before the url you have to put . You basically enclose the address of the picture inside the img "tags".

Here is an example - I used parenthesis here instead of [] so you could see. Had I used the [] the picture would've shown up:

Let me know if you have questions. You can practice by PMing me if you like.

Later,
Blue

Don't seem to work for me, Blue got voodoo :D

Re: For Sale   Old School

???Dang man, I don't know ??? Hey the link works almost as good - at least you linked to a pic huh?!

Re: For Sale   Old School

you have to start with

URL Here no spaces  then end like this [ /img]

or the easy way is to hit the little pic button in tool bar when you reply, then just copy paste the url between the img brackets!

Re: For Sale   Old School

your first pic address is, I spaced the address so it woun't work.

h  ttp://www.wellcraftv20.com/gallery/albums/album87/125184_R1_21_16.sized .jpg

now if you do this, again I will space so it won't work!!

Thanks Wind Talker, I got it to work this afternoon after a long consultation with TinMan. He straightened me out ;)

A couple of guys called, they need to work it out with their respective CEO's but in a word no. Thats OK, I got some eeling to do starting now and if I have to winterize it and close it up so be it. I can think of worse things than to be saddled with a nice V20.
Depending on what happens with me at my job the next few months I may have some cash to buy a decent shoot and skoot tin boat for local fishing, besides TinMan says he will hook me up if I need the feel of a tin rig during the winter for trout ;D
