Finally Pompano 2025

The spring run started about 10 days ago. Ive been 5 times with no fish. i thought i'd lost my touch.. Decided to try a new spot 35 miles east of us.

turned out to be the right decision.

You lose your touch, it wasn't you, it was the fish - They said, hey that's Phat's hook, let's get out of here - The moved payed off, now you have fish who don't know you - That is a nice fish and catch, well from a jealous guy, it is - ENJOY

Agree with G, way to go on the move. Normally we just start talking about moving to a different spot and the bite turns on. It happened so many times when we would talk about moving, so now we intentionally talk about moving (loudly so the fish can hear). You should try it! If it doesn't work.....we actually MOVE. LOL

Went surf fishing yesterday. Of course wind was howling ended up wade fishing for trout.

Thanks G, the only thing that would make fishing better is a bacon bagel. Not a lot bagels south of I-10, but we do have cat head biscuits with link sausage.
