You've got a nice boat there. Only you know what your present condition and finances dictate, so only you can make the decision. My personal advice is that if it's at all possible, keep the boat. The last thing you want is to feel that you "had to" sell your boat for the baby. That leads to resentment, and a baby is something so wonderful and yet so frail that you don't want any hint of resentment floating around. Besides, in 6 or 7 years your child will be loving the time that they spend on the boat with mom and dad. IMHO :head:

Agreed....kids can be costly but its a slow bleeding! I always said that if you wait to have kids until you think you can afford them you'll never have them. You always manage to make do some how.

all of the above, i had to sell a center console and get my cuddy when we had our first child, she's now 21 and i still have the boat. so you are one step of me , you already have the perfect boat for kids.

what is $4000 going to buy you?? kids are just milk and dippers at first and go slow from there, mine did not really cost any thing till they hit teen age years!! Thats when the fun begins!!

keep the boat sell the kid:beer:
