I just watched a commercial for a EV CAR or SUV not sure,and don’t care. This is the commercial
Charge in 25 minutes and get up to 170 miles.
My gas Honda fuel up in under 2 minutes and get ever 500 miles. No EV not a hybrid. Just gas. ⛽️
Why don’t they put that up. And my Honda is 14 years old too
 
Remember the old diesel wv rabbits? What did they get mpg? Subaru justy I think was 3 cylinder. Add all the emissions crap and get worse mileage.
 
We had two or three diesel Rabbits, and, I think two or three engines in one of them. It was my wife’s car, and she occasionally ran out of fuel because it was so long between needing to fill up (and that was when the kids were young and she was on the road a lot).

I liked that when someone was following too close, coming up the long hill out of the city, I could put my foot in it and cover them in a cloud of black smoke. The car didn’t speed up, but they backed off😂. It was a great little car.
 
I had a Mazda Diesel Pick up in the 80’s. Loved it,had a 4 cylinder inline Perkins with a Japanese injection system. Drove from here to big pine key,750 miles. Filled it up in Ocala, bout half way. Again when i got to Big Pine. It held 12 gallons. Basically 30 mpg @ 75 cents a gallon,so about $20 to drive to the. Keys.

BUT,65-70 was top end and forget passing anybody.
