I never said the mostly peaceful Jan 6 demonstration at our nation's capital was insignificant. Any time you have over 20,000 people gathered together to protest something, anything, it is very significant and should be a cause for an investigation into WHY they are protesting. I said your posts were insignificant. Inaccurate and insignificant.

Ok well thats taking shape now with Dems and Republicans on the panel.
As to why they gathered many said they believed trump instructed them to block the election certification. Some were there because they wont accept the truth of election result.
Some were there just to be violent.

Of course we believe the actual video footage.. There's no denying that some people were bad actors and did things they should not have done. There's also no denying that most of the 20,000 plus people at the demonstration were peaceful and did not partake in the altercation with the police.
As far as the capital police go, one of them is guilty of murder and should be tried in a court of law. And to any person that thinks that police cannot be "bought" or coerced , I have this bridge I'm selling over in NYC that maybe they would be interested in.
