Boat show blues? Not here!

Congrats brotheron the fishing firsts, and for the record that is a darn fine boat you have, I know. And also for the record you would not have touched that boat trailer motor combo up here for anywhere near that price . So sit back fish , enjoy and smile because you are on easy st. Lord Franco ;)

Thanks Phester, If I could have found a V20 CC with a seadrive or bracket, I would have jumped all over it, but I would have missed out on some skinny water fishing - got my first snook and my first pompano today. Had to drag 'em out of the mangroves on 6lb test line!
that's excellent Franco, unfortunately I did not fish today and probably won't for a month or so. I did, however, enjoy a different kind of thrill today, and that was sleigh ridding w/ my five year old son....daddy is still a bit of a madman on the slopes.[honestly I wish we were both on the boat instead]

Willy, you're ZACKLY RITE 'bout those Robalos...fit fit/finish/overall quality and layout, I'd put them up against ANYBODY...heavy boats; they're not afraid to LAY IT UP!!...buddy of mine had a 21' cabin w/a 200 Black Max(you'd have loved it BS)...we spent LOTS of time chasin' stripers on Lake Hartwell in that boat and I's always impressed w/that boat...SOLID!! RIDES like a DREAM!!... ;D 8) ;D 8)...

And Franco, CONGRATS on the fishin'...sounds like you got that Mangrove thing figured out ;)...How'd that Snookie TASTE?...YUMM.... 8)...whad they hit??...you usin' bait or lures??...

Yea Rap I always knew they made a great boat but when they are layed out in a big open show to look at it was quite remarkable the visible difference between boats. You see it and feel it the second you walk aboard. If I was looking for a 25 footer new and had the money to play like that it would have been that boat. Closest we saw there construction wise was the Regulators which were real nice but a lot more money. And the SteigerCrafts were built like a floating brick Sh!thouse, their 23 footer was fabulous

Franco, thanks for the invite here.   You just wait until we hook up and Buddy Boat, you are gonna start postin' some nice fishing pics.  Here is my nephew's first dolphin off the "Pescado Loco"   <~~ Fish Crazy in spanish.

Pipe Dream, I enjoy walking the boat shows also, but until this Lotto thing works out, I will be happy with what I have.  No boat payments, no truck payments, no car payments, No kids and no required alimony payments to the EX wife.  LOL

Hey Oz, I wish I could tell ya. It was a little small in size to keep, but it had a lotta fight in him. Got him on 6lb test. By tje time you find your way down from South Carolina, I'll have a few more good spots in the bag.

Hey Tim, I'm ready every weekend weather permitting, I look forward to hooking up for some buddy boat fishing!

It's a bunch lighter so it rides over it instead of knocking it down and blasting thru it. But it is a soft ride, though a little wet if the wind is quatering the bow. About what I expected going from a cuddy (with full enclosure) to a center console. Jumps up on plane quickly, fast too. I had her to 54mph on the gps with 2 guys and 50 gallons of fuel on board. I have a lot more fishing space without th I/O engine box in the way. It drifts as nice as the V20 did, trolls fine. Same amount of rocking when anchored and a boat passes. Each boat has it's strong and weak points. I really loved my V20, but I also love my McKee. It is a lot more versitile, no wood, full flotation and more toys from the factory.
