Black Drum trip

Took a long time friend of the family Black Drum fishing yesterday Eastern Shore Va seaside, Cobb Island. Caught 5 with largest being 65lbs. The others were 40-45lbs. They come in our inlets to spawn and dine on hard clams they "nose up" on the edges. Sight too see a herd splashing with tails out of the water.

Nice! Wondering if those big ones fight as hard as the smaller ones? One of the most fun to catch inshore as they make several runs and fight until the very end.

Don’t blame me for forgetting it’s those dam years that keep piling up.
Bgreene kept that boat excellent and you are too. I don’t know 2hat you paid for it but what 3ver it was it was a great buy. That is one beautiful boat. Looks like it came offb5he showroom floor.

Better than the ones you have now? It must have been in perfect condition. But you can get this one just as nice
It’s in great shape to start with. But I understand there is always room for upgrades.

Oh yes, Original owner in Spartanburg, S.C. fresh water reservoir used only with less than 100 hours on boat, Motor & aluminum float on trailer. Immaculate full FACTORY enclosure never installed on the boat. I think I bought it back in 2006. REELAPEELIN was highly instrumental in me buying the boat since it was right around the corner from him. Once he sent me the pics I had to come down and grab it! Mistake selling that boat but I sort of made up for it with this one.

Boat was only 10 years old at that time. The bottom had zero blemishes let alone a scratch! I sold the original float on trailer and bought that EZ Loader roller trailer. Some of our ramps are not that long. Also replaced the "plastic thru hulls with bronze units.

Nice. I had a ez loader roller trailer. Very good choice , me I never could understand those float on trailer unless you have a steep ramp. The ramp that I use in nj is not steep and a goat on would not be my choice I would have to get my truck deep into the water and I’m not doing that. Check the rollers, the axle, the winch strap. Tires. Lights. If it’s used Beautiful looking boat. You can tell it was taking care of
