BIG DIESEL - SKOOLS CHECK IT OUT!

What school? I was a hawsepiper (deckie). Got 3 years sea time in 4 years and sat for my license. Stopped sailing about 4 years ago as Second Mate, have 1600 Ton Capt's also.

I was civilian too. SIU when I was unlicensed and AMO as an officer.
 
I'm a cadet through the casual/California Maritime Academy.  I did sail on an AMO ship for my cadet cruise, the Great Land.  It seems like I'll be better off on a MEBA ship, though.  If I go union, that is. The MEBA $1.8 million dollar buyout is temptng.
