Glad to hear that the lacquer thinner worked. I used more than a quart of it on my boat! There were old registration stickers, stickers onthe glass, old manufacturesr stickers/dealer stickers all over the boat. There even was a big fluke sticker on a gunnel!! (I should have left that one in honor of MJ!!) ;D
I even took off the "V 20 Steplift" stickers on the sides of the boat below the windows. First with a heat gun/scraper(putty knife) then all the residue with lacquer thinner.
Just dont get it on plastics it will eat it up. IT likely will eat up the toothbrush idea.
"Quahog" huh? gonna do a little clamming up there?
Where are you going to put the name??? I had a tough time figuring that out becasuse there is not alot of room on the transom and I didnt really want lettering all over the side of the boat.
I settled for that 4inch high area across the transom above the rubrail. "OLD SCHOOL" is the name.
Then again, since RAP's boat was already a teenager when ours were born, maybe I should change the name to "Sort of Old School" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
