Back 2 Back seat

Anyone know a good source for QUALITY seat?
Don't want cheap...want quality.

Does anyone make a starboard seat (not plywood)?

Tx, Bill

Hate to tell you, but a few years back I was shopping for one and they were ALL CHEAP and none were the right height, all short for 17 foot lake boats. Had a carpenter friend build a new base and a rich guy yacht captain friend get the cushions redone.

Yep...that's why I asked...they all look "cheap". Maybe I'll build my own out of starboard this winter...might be best solution.

Bill, Here is a thread that I started a little over a year ago. I ordered a seat from Overton's. When it came it was much shorter than the original seat and cheap too (quality not price). In the thread someone mentioned a company where you could have one made and better quality, but of course more expensive.

Also here is a picture that was in the gallery section that shows how to add height to the currently available seats.
Good Luck.

did a really nice job on my seats .. custom made... choose your color pattern... and you also have a height option which was key. I bought some Wise seats and when I got them I realize they were crap along with not being tall enough. I ended up going a few inches higher after realizing you can get a better view.. all marine grade plywood..... took almost 2 months for them to build and ship.

they will send sample material swatches to make sure you match up your color correct

Just got the V back from the Shop after 5 weeks! Under the Cushions they have hole drilled out in the plywood for drainage.Best part is you can color coordinate the seats with the hull stripes! All hardware seems to be stainless and aluminum except the rivets on the track (doesn't make sense ). Please excuse the mess... its been sitting under a tree for 5 weeks

Would you happen to have the arm rest pads?

Thx, Bill

Wow...this was disappointing. I emailed Veada...they are so busy they are not currently taking orders?!
Just my luck...

"Thank you for contacting us. We will not be taking any orders in 2017. We will announce in early 2018 when and if orders will resume."

Thank you again for checking with us,

I too contacted Veada to buy seats, same answer , if anyone has the talent and means to make seats this looks like a business opportunity

I ordered mine in December both times I used them and they were 6 weeks out. Its a great holiday treat for yourself in the off season.... well worth the wait! I have armrest that need to be re-done. Definitly going to match the seats... when you order from Veada, order a yard of material too for the armrest. Now is a good time to do your homework and order swatches of the fabric to figure out the color you want. Its best to get a bunch of sample colors... its hard to see/tell what the colors actually look like.

I feel pretty lucky I replaced my seats when I did! They are probably having staffing issues like the rest of the country
