Appology to my "V"...

Just wanted to tell the old girl, in public, "sorry." Been so busy lately that I actually had to weed eat around her tonight. She's been neglected due to work here lately, but I'll make it all better soon.

;)

I need to appologize to mine also. Lots of work and not much time for her. Did pull it out and run it the other day, moving my primer bulb closer to the motor seems to have helped the restarting issue.

Turbo, we'll get there soon enough. I had a great start to the season and have already caught 40 flatties, but work has been good lately ::)

I'm only 3 u-bolt away from finishing my roller project. Have a guy making them for me since I cant find them any where.

I would like to formally and publicly thank you for you efforts in helping me look for them. It's guys like you that make this a great place and world. :-*

I owe you a beer or two. ;)

Er, uh...last time I left the Dam it was suggested that I didn't need to return ::) Boy was it a good night :o

Still haven't determined WHO made the suggestion 8) ... curious minds wanna know ;) ...

I've seen some of that crowd before. It must have been a good night for them to tell you not to return.

You didn't ask Stella to raise her top did ya. That would cause anybody to be asked not to return. ;D

As best I can remember the story...it had been a long night and "the Dam" was the last stop, not the first. We were shooting pool, in a friendly way, when one of the regulars decided he wanted to fight. Maybe he picked me 'cause I was the biggest guy in the place, I don't know, but he wanted a piece of me...There was only one problem, I told him that if he had to have a piece that bad, have at it. When he sugested that I put the pool cue down, I told him I was smarter than that. Things got heated for a second, then they decided since it was the first time they had seen me, and the other guy was a regular, it would be best for me to leave. They asked me not to return and I have zero problem with that. Another potentially bad situation avoided ;D

Slot, ya did the smart thing ...several years ago I was invited off the street into an alley to "settle a dispute" ... I told him if was man enough in the alley, he'd be man enough right here, right now ... standoff ...both walked away...

Had you pressed it at the Dam, who knows the outcome ;) ...

I got in a fight with a guy one night several years ago. He thought I had the hots for his girlfriend when in fact I didn't even know her and just happened to be standing next to her while my friend was talking to someone else. Anyway, we went at it and I got the best of him but not before he ALMOST got me and was pulled off of me by a good samaritan ;)

So about 3 years later, I see this guy in a bar. He grins and says how I "got him good" that night. He tries talking me into heading outside to try it again - I said just let me buy you a beer instead ;D And so I did.

A guy the size of Air holding a pool cue, What was that guy smoking.

You did the right thing by walking away. Back during the construction of the plant I work at, the end of the day would result in about 15 to 25 guys going up to the Dam looking for a good time. Since there were so many they couldn't be asked to leave and expect the place to still be standing, so for about a year and a half the construction workers pretty well had a run of the place. Things never got out of hand though.

Y'all give me too much credit. I wasn't smart enough to walk away initially, but I was smart enough to hold on to the pool cue ;) Alls well that ends well...
