Anyone have a V-20 CC?

If he does not want to give you the numbers then screw him!!

There are plenty others around for sale!!

why no numbers?? does he have the capability?

Is it he can't or he won't??

ask him one more time, if he says he can't then, ask if you can do your own tesat.

Go to autozone and rent for free a compresion tester, and take it with you.

I he won't then say I give you $2000 and you keep the motor!!

Just remember any used more you are taking a chance !! and keep that in your mind when dealing!!

After being so reluctant to supply compression results, if he gave them to you now, would you have much faith that they were accurate? The only way to be sure is to test it yourself. Make the trip. But make it with the realization that you may go home with nothing in tow. Don't be too anxious to buy just because it looks nice and you drove the distance to look at it.

Three years ago I traveled 170 miles to inspect the Mac Attack. It had a Force 150 that people advised me to stay away from. My brother in law and I went there and forgot the compression tester on first trip. The boat was really clean and well taken care of made an offer contingent on comp tests. Checked out OK and here we are. He may not be mechnically inclined. Take the trip ask Tin what happened to him. Bill Mc ;D

I sure will, I wish I would have documented the process like I did my hatch cover replacements, but I will egt some photos of the finished product for you, it came out real nice.

It used to have two crappy condition pedestal seats and the previous owner made a crappy box to fit over the pedestals, but never upholstered it. HARD RIDE. I took the box in to a local guy a couple years ago and he covered it with really thick marine ulpholstry ($100) and then this last trip the crappy box bottom was falling off, so I did a total rebuild. More to come.

Thanks bro...I would love some ideas. I kinda stole this idea from a guy on EBAY. I think I will make one of these for the 150 behind the console, I use as a seat. I will raise it about 10-12" off the deck so it will be high enough for a seat and also you will be able to wash underneath it better than it sitting on the floor.
