Anchor locker mods...

Been fooling with this anchoring thing lately as most of ya know ::), so in cleaning up I vaccumned out the bottom of the anchor locker and thought to myself...there has to be a better way.

The locker has a nice drain in the bottom of it, or at least near the bottom...so looking around the garage, well, it just sort of hit me. I was looking at this plastic crate that holds pepsi products.

A few minutes with a tape measure and the jig saw and I now have a nice plastic false bottom that will hold the anchor rode off the floor, yet allow water and sand to pass through. This should extend the life of my anchor rode considerably :)

Oh, and for you non-believers, pics in the morning ;D

I did the same thing in the bottom of one of my floor-hatches...works GREAT!! 8) ...might have to look into the anchor-rode thing, too ;D ;D ...

Its morning, and here's those pics I promised,,, ;D
