Anacapri 22

Imitation - the most sincere form of flattery.
I wonder who designed it.

hmmmm, very close indeed. The stretch version. BS, was it you that was telling me that Chris-Craft also used the hull design? LIke maybe their SeaHawk model or something?

When I emailed C. Raymond Hunt & Associates a year ago . . . John Deknatel said that the v20 steplift was originally built by Alim . . . then wellcraft . . . then Chris Craft and others.   www.projectboats.net has an old 27ft Alim hull begging to be redone (only $500 for the hull)

Also, if you look at the hulls of the older smaller Bertram Bahia Mahr's, you can see the Ray Hunt influence as well. The strakes and everything look identical to the Wellcraft.

Get a look at the stem on that alim!!!

I thought the v20's stem shows a strong downeaster influence ( that's why I put a stem profile pic in my gallery), but that alim's stem has really got it goin on. 8)

I'm still trying to figure this one out as well. I pulled it off the web thinking it was a V20 cuz I liked the T-Top. The more I look at it, there are some minor differences that lead me to believe it may not be. The console is definately not a Wellcraft which doesn't mean anything. The curve of the hull back at the stern isn't quite the same. Also looks like the coaming cap is slightly different too. I don't know. I could be wrong and it may be a Wellcraft. If it isn't, it's a very close likeness.http://69.49.253.173/gallery/album02/TTOPYELLOW

Yeah, I had a friend once that had the Chris-Craft. It had a walkaround cuddy and was called a SeaHawk. I didn't realize then that it was the same hull. But yes, It did give a nice ride naturally.

Macojoe, I think you need a new tape measure. Your boat looks like a V22 to me.
