Isn't '78 the year of the 46 gal fuel tank?...if I's fixin' to buy one, I believe a 60 gal tank would be on the wish-list

If you got a motor that gets 5mpg, 46 gal is a plenty.

yeah my 78 has a 50 gal with 46 useable in the belly but has a 28 gal with 25 useable added right in front of the tank. so you can put up to 75 gallons of fuel in a 1978 up boat just add a tank under the floor.
