'86 Dual Console on Ebay

I don't know that I'd trust a seller that doesn't know that a Mercruiser is an I/O and Mercury is the outboard division. ::)

I looked up Wellcraft in 86. They don't show to have even built that boat in 86. Plus as stated they don't know the difference in Merc's I/O and Mercury O/B. Why would you put an Old ass POS mercury on a 86 boat? I would ask him for the HULL ID numbers and motor compressions.

Wellcraft did make that boat!!

And I had to do it all over again that would be the boat i would have!! You get the best of both worlds!! Cuddy windshield and center console room to fish!

The only thing with those boats are that the side windshield is so samll that they offer little or no protection from the watyer spray that comes over the side.

Gentlemen .....

I agree with macjoe...

How much bottom paint do you see? and for under $4K
and who cares if the @#$% can't spell mercruiser, or mercury or whatever - unbolt it and blow it out on ebay...
Spend the winter finding a newer O/B ...
The biggest worry is that the bozoes don't overbid it.
It would be good to grab it for around $3K
Then drive it home from Texas ...

As with a Center Console (aka Fisherman 20) the station is further aft and the ride is great. How do I know - well I just took my '84 CC from Annapolis to Oxford (MD) ....
And I've been out, and across the bay before that from Annapolis to Tilgman Island in 2+ foot chop, blowing 12-15 knots! Yea like mac-joe says - a little spray- but who cares, are you going to melt if you get wet?

Hey Macajoe ....

Take a look at the enlarged views, and look clsely at the port and starboard consoles on this one. It looks like they were just are "bolt-ons" in a center console liner!

They are. ;)

I hear what Capt Bill's sayin' about the ride, but I'd have to UN-BOLT those consoles and move 'em forward to get some ROOM back in the boat... ;) :D...
