Hey guys!
I recently bought a '79 V20 that is in very good condition but I have a few mods I would like to do.
I won't actually get to the boat for another few weeks, so this will have to be that kind of terrible thread with no pictures. I just want to float some ideas by and see what other people have done. I got this boat for pretty cheap so I have some $$$ to spend on it, especially since the transom, stringers, and floor are solid
These are my priority modifications:
-re-wire the boat with dual batteries and 2 bilge pumps on separate circuits
-install accent lighting in the fish boxes and on deck..I'm thinkin RED leds like this, I'm going to get three or four strip LED lights from ScarabChris over at TheHullTruth

-bimini top
Then, if funds and time will allow...
-anchor pulpit and electric windlass
-replace and varnish all the wood trim and make teak hatch covers
-raw water washdown
-redo the dash with new gauges and layout
Another question, I have seen the boat in person but didn't go in the cuddy or look at it. Would someone 5'6" (me!) be able to lie down in it?
Thanks all!!
