few years back at the new York boat show they restored one and put a modern diesel drivetrain in it. the boat was stunning and the economy numbers were amazing. I think it cruised at something like 27 knots at 3 or 4 gph. it was a beauty.

that boat came thru here and I rode on it, it had a Volkswagon diesel in it, I was sold thru Yanamar or Cummins, I can't remember
