1990 Evinrude 225

I'm selling my Evinrude 225 looper. It has a smeared ring in the middle cylinder on the starboard side. Compression on all othe cylinders is 95+/- cold. It has a new stator, voltage regulator, carb job, recent power pack. I'd rather sell it to someone on here rather than get a bunch of calls from every tire kicker in the southeast. I'd rather not part it out, and I'd rather not ship it, but am willing to drive a reasonable distance for an interesting trade. I almost rather trade it actually. I figure I'll say $950 and see where it goes. What else ya'll got?
 
hate to hurt your sell but a little to high my friend just bought a pair of 1992 Evinrude 225's for $800 with all controls, gauges, and props that run.

Kinda thought so. Figure I'll keep it and sell the foot off it or part it out... or just park it in my yard with the other assorted items of redneck margaritaville.

Whatcha got for a trade Ferm? I've got a couple other old motors sitting around that I picked up along the way that I could throw in on a deal. A good friend of mine lives in Tampa that I plan on visiting sometime. We could meet up. I'll trade you my junk for yours.
