True, true. But the two-stroke 200 is lighter than the 4-stroke, and has worked out great for me. My former 155 got slower its last few years -- it got so that if I had any bottom growth and tried to carry 3 or 4 friends I had issues getting up on plane. Of course, it was an OLD 155. As for the fuel, my 200 is more efficient than my 155 was!Airslot said:150's great, 175 is greater, and 200 starts to get overpowering. Newer 200's also make the boat stern heavy.

When I helped some friends rig out their 26 Glacier Bay a while back, I was proppin in cause they and the dealer were jammed up. Anyhow, when the new props came in, I went to pick em up and the invoice was still in the box. Lets just say theys got a big big markup on stainless...
