    a shop near Savannah quoted a 225 etec rigged complete controls prop and gages. for me about a week ago i was just curious hope i do not need one any time soon.

    studying the pictures in the instructions and see that the grommet is supposed to be attached to the plastic tube. only thing that i am not sure about is that brown o ring when i took the pump off that grommet was not attached to the plastic tube and the o ring was were i put it in the plastic...

    more pics i see a grove in the seal does the plastic tube lip fit in this seal and is the brown o ring in the correct place? thanks for any help

    i bought the OEM kit but it did not have that seal. I assume the plastic tube seats against that seal?

    replacing the water pump on my 96 rude 225 and noticed a crack in the pipe is this a problem also a bad seal on this tube.

    water pump suplies

    changing out the water pump and after reading the manual have a couple of quick questions what would be equivalent to evenrude adhesive m, triple-guard and needle bearing assembly lube in say permatex or other brands.

    looks like cooling system was on engine and probably full of coolant just no water run to heat exchanger it would take a wile to overheat.
