I really wanted that 90 degree eye. The swivel sometimes allows the cable to twist together like licorice just when your on the trailer and about to hook into the bow eye. That 90 degree hook not so much.
The hook is attached to the pulley block. I just found and purchased on Ebay a swivel hook just like you see in my 1rst pic of my other V-21. Powerwinch does not sell either one anymore. They are obselete.
I have that. I need the eye to be 90 degrees to the hook. Just like the one Powerwinch use to include in their winch kits and pictured in my 1rst post.
You mean like this?? This was my 1rst V-21 that I rigged up for double pull. Of course you want the two cables as close together as possible but there was no room on the winch mount area so on the winch stand it went. Worked like a champ, little longer to retrieve the boat but that ice cold beer...
Yeah I know what it is, I've rigged 4 boats like it. Since I bought this 912 I have only had it rigged for single pull. If you've had experience with these Chinese Powerwinches the last few years they are not the same quality as before. I decided to go with the double pull setup to try and get...
On my last trip of the season I treat the tank with Startron. I fill it up completely with non ethanol before parking it into my climate controlled building. Have never had a fuel issue. I replace the primary spin on Racor filter every 2 years.
I have one Group 27 Interstate. The best battery you can buy in my opinion. 4 years old and very strong. On a V-21 not much room for a 2nd battery with the oil tank on port side and I don't want to run long cables from up front. I always bring my compact NECO jumper. Always
I parked it in my climate controlled building back in October. Pulled it out yesterday. Hooked up the hose, turned on the battery switch, pumped the bulb 5 times, hit the key and it fired up immediately. 2005 Etech with 650 hrs. She's a beast!
