are you pumping up the primer bulb before starting? Holding the key in while spinning the engine over induces fuel into the cylinders via teh crankcase. It takes a minute for teh fuel to reach the cylinders, and you have to have the engine spinning over for it to get thereBoy did you make a mistake. lol. I have a stupid question. My 1988 150 mercury outboard. Blackmax.
Sometimes when she sits for a while like 2. To 3. Weeks she is hard to get her started. She always does but it takes a while. I was told to hold the choke key in for 30 seconds and that would help.
