Startron or ethenol shield?

What do you guys use as an additive to your fuel?
I use startron. But I’m thinking of switching to ethenol shield. WHY? I watched a video with chickanic and she did a test and ethenol shield actually got rid of the water.

If u have an older motor the lines and rubber parts don't hold up to ethanol as good as newer stuff so it wouldn't hurt. I only run mine a couple times a year. So I always put some kind of stabilizer in it.

I haven't been adding anything to my fuel. Should I be? We run the boat at the very least every other weekend.
If you use your boat often and use th3 gas up. You should be good. But if it doesn’t get used like mine. I live in nj so she lays idle for 4 months maybe more. Do you use ethenol free gas?

Like Pipe, I try to run mine at least twice a month. I had just filled it up when my wife was injured. Only been out 3 times since July 28. I used mercury Quickstor for the first time this year, Topped off tank, dumped in a bottle & ran around the neighborhood to mix it up. Backed it under the shed and ran ir for 20 minutes to get treated fuel through the system.

I’ll let u know how it works

All gas is 89 oct Non-E

I did some research on both. This is what I came up with.
Ethenol shield does eliminate the water a little at a time.
Startron treats the fuel and keeps it fresh for up to two years an$ protects the engine.
So since I have not had a problem with it before. I’m going to stick with it.
Is it better? I don’t know but I have been using it for years.
