Welcome!!...keep us up to date on the progress of your boat!!...Are you looking for a motor?...

HI William. :hi: Welcome to the insanity. This is a great place for info on your boat, and to just make friends with some of the greatest guys on the water. We love boat porn here, so pics are always welcome.

Sorry it took me a while to get back with everyone. The best thing about this deal is i almost bought the boat last year for $ 2k on the trailer.this year free with outthe trailer. Which i do not need:-) I've taken some pictures, I'll try and post them. I've got to cut the hole all the way to the outside bulk heads. My father has some fiberglass angle(just like a stick of angle iron) that I'm going to bolt to the bulk heads to give the plywood more support. I'm looking at putting a Yamaha 115 four stroke on a bracket and glassing the splash well up. I know it won't be a fast boat but I've had this motor on two other 20' boats and got 28knts wide open and cruising easily at 22knts and the mpg are GREAT!

LOL While we all like to brag about how our boat will go faster than the speed of sound, the fact is that all of us know that going out and getting back are much more important. Nothing wrong with 28 knots. That's respectable in any league.

After doing tittle work. I've found out its a 77. Also since I'm only able to use my phone for the internet and I don't know how to copy and paste with it, no pictures at this time

William - nice boat and wow......a 115 4 stroke -you'll likely have fantastic range based on the fuel economy.

If you run in some choppy waters, I can vouch for trim tabs - makes the difference between pounding in 2-3' seas and cutting right through on plane.

Anyway, best of luck with it. Good people on this web site.

I'm pulling the tabs off the hull the motor is sitting on. That hull has a 50gals tank. had a range of over 200mi. I could run three charters before refueling and never came close to empty.
