Don't throw in the towel yet Destroyer. There are still votes to be counted, and Romney is leading in some of the States that have been called for O.

There are a lot of stories about vote fraud, and there will most likely be some recounts.
 
:nut: Not one person I voted for won. Everyone in RI is happy to keep everything the way it is. It is how to understand how everyone has lined up to vote for four more years of the same......:nut:

I also feel very disappointed in my state and feel like I wasted my time voting...

Obuma won by a landslide here, Scott Brown lost, and the right to die with dignity also failed.

1 Trillion to 17 Trillion... How is this going to be turned around? I just hope we do not become the United States of Asia :sick:. I worry for my kids.
 
it boiled down to specifics. Look at all the states around the Great lakes, all union strongholds. Virginia and Maryland, all federal government workers. New Mexico, Nevada, California, lots of immigrants wanting to bring the rest of the family over. Colorado, California, Washington, Oregon, lots of homosexuals wanting to be married and lots of pot smokers. Now for the North East, all we can say is damn yankees!:booty:

Both HAD plans of capital improvements to their businesses and hiring a couple more people. The election results last night changed all that. They are NOT spending the $$$$$ for the improvements, and one of them is laying off 7 employees this morning. They are scared to death of the future for the small businesses, as am I

I hope we can survive 4 more years.....

one of the things that really jerks my chain, is they said voter turn out nation wide was much lower than the last election, those non voters will be the ones who complain the loudest

I watched atleast 20 people walk out because the line was to long to wait. That was very disheartning regardless of who they were going to vote for. We had a big turn out here in va beach.

Reel, I don't think it's about giving up. It's about recognizing that there are enough voters out there who when offered the choice, prefer a hand out to a hand up and they have happily re-elected Santa Claus. Evidence of the collapse of the work ethic. I don't mean to suggest that anyone who receives some kind of assitance from the government is not deserving, but it does demonstrate a growing collapse of the work ethic in this country. I believe we have a moral obligation to help those who can not help themselves. But we also need leadership that recognizes that compassion for the less fortunate includes maintaining the means to pay for that assistance. A strong economy not only helps to keep people from needing assitance, but creates the means to provide that assitance when it is needed. The presidents economic policy failures are wreckless and a crumbling economy benefits no one, rich or poor. You can't redistribute what does not exist and we can't borrow our way out of this either. We may hope not to be the next Greece, but it will happen if we don't change the direction we are headed. The hope for that change was just postponed for another 4 years. Destroyer, don't write America off just yet, it's not over until you quit.
 
I have a way to fix this next time:

We all register democrat and vote in a idiot to run against the other party's candidate and then we all vote for the republican party.

What's sad is I had a guy who works for me say how glad he was Obama won.....we'll see how happy about it he is when we start doin payroll cuts as well. Kinda ironic that I have to let you go to afford your soon to be arriving handouts.....

OVER SIMPLIFIED : How about he wants to take my hard earned $$$ and give it to somebody who doesnt really want to work....NOW THATS ****ED UP!!

I pay my own healthcare...now I have to pay everybody elses....IF I still have a job.......NOW THATS ****ED UP!!!


He pushed this green agenda instead of tapping resources right here, or even in the Gulf...but yet China is there drilling...China is there buying oil we could be getting from Canada....NOW THATS ****ED UP!!

I have ZERO respect for the individual living in the white house

Drag...that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard....either your friend is making money off those employees or he is losing money by carrying those employees with not enough work to support them....to wake up this morning and decide to layoff 7 people is again the dumbest thing i ever heard.

I don't give a flying **** what color a man is, and as long as he pulls his own weight and leaves others alone he's fine in my book.

I am self-employed, and am overburdened with taxes to support the largess of this socialist soon to be 3rd world ****hole government we have.

The takers outnumber the makers. There are more people riding the wagon than are pulling it. There are more people drinking the water than hauling it. There are more mooches than producers. Pick one. We are ****ed, and the current government is not the solution.
