Had to break out the sweater for the first time of the season. Summer flew by and weather hasn't cooperated for the V in almost 2 months.

I dont want to hear about long pants and sweaters....I saw my first snow flakes of the season this afternoon....:bat:

it was cold here in north fl, wore long pants to work for the first time since march
i hate cold weather..

No kidding, I finally had to turn the heat on tonight when it went into the 50's(saying it may be in the 30's in the morning). Had the A/C going 2 days ago.

I sense this was a "dig" to all us "northern folks".

Fine.:hi:

Well, I lived in FLA for a couple years thinking I would love it, but actually I didn't like it at all.:head:

You can have your boring "very hot to not so hot" seasons. I will take New England's full 4 seasons, hills, winding roads and all that comes with it.

I love the fall with the changing leaves and crisp fresh air. Sure, going from the end of fall into winter is not "my favorite", but that's why there is FOOTBALL!

rkc, i hear that from a lot of the newer residents from the north. i guess that is why the folks with the big bucks winter in the south and summer in the north.

I seriously don't know how you guys deal with the cold. I'll take the hottest day all year round.

Gonna try the fireplace though as I re-opened it this year.

Up north gets hotter to boot. This year we never reached triple digits, yet I know several parts of the NE reached well into the 100's this year. You guys can kep your weather up there, I'll stick with central FL.
