I'm hoping for a debate as well. I think the true OBAMA will show and demonstrate his leadership(or lack thereof). I believe MCCAIN can hold his own.

He has never been a speaker for speaches in front of the tele-promter.
If you ever see him live, speaking to a group and answering questions in front of a crowd, thinking on his feet situation he is excellent.
Some are naturals at oratory, with a hypnotic cadence they are taught at universities, the Obamination is one of those very capable speakers. But put him in front of a group when he has to respond without a prepared speech he stutters, he actually sounds like he has been at the bar before he came in.
I find that interesting.
