been sitting untouched for decades after removal of the original Volvo Penta B16 80hp I/O was removed for transom rebuild (the I/O ended up in a houseboat in Key West). the curved plastic windshield was removed by a long ago forgotten Hurricane, but the original clear bow hatch is still there.
I've read your post more carefully, and that sounds like an awesome boat. CONGRATULATIONS! Where are you located? My boat shows it's age, but I have jumped in fearlessly, and started WAY TOO MANY projects -- about 30+, and all at once at that. We'll have to arrange to meet up on the water. You can never have too many boating and fishing friends. -Phil. phil@pjb3.com. 703-637-9152
PJ, He said he wasn't going to advertise it, giving me first refusal. I was hot on a 83 20ft Steplift 5.7 up in N.H. but it would never stop snowing to go look at it. Fresh water use since new. I'm glad I didn't go up! This one of Bennett's is almost as cherry as the one I sold 2012. It is featured here in the V-21 gallery. 1996 as well, it was used by an older gentleman down in Spartenburg, S.C. on a reservoir its whole life. It was kept in a building when not out fishing. Amazing. Bennett's boat has had 3 different owners. However it is probably the best V-21 that I know of currently. He did things to it I didn't have the heart to do to mine such as trim tabs and Seastar Hydraulic steering. I am elated to be back in another one! Where are you in Va??
I saw photos of a V21 that someone in NJ was selling, and yes, it was clean and looked awesome. I'm not sure if that was bgreene or someone else... I will have to look to check.
Evening Phil, Dave Moore over here on the Eastern Shore of Va. Did Bgreene ever send you photos of his V-21 he is selling??
Looking to purchase electric (12v) trailer boat winch for a 20' cuddy V. Any suggestions on what size and where to purchase? Ebay purchasing is out.

Thanks in advance

Love how your v20 came out. I am taking delivery of an 83 fresh water used since new on a lake up in N.H. next month. Originally a 305 but now has a 2 hr 5.7. What kind of speed do you get with yours? Dave in Va
Hi Steplift20 - I saw you were interested in parts for vintage 1980's Mercury 150 but the seller has not responded. I have not posted them for sale here but I have various parts for 2 Mercury 150's from the '80s. Wondering were you live if you are interested - I am in CT near Mystic - Regards Carl
MacoJoe - poster named kheid on the political forum is cursing and writing threads accusing me of murder.
I may not have the most popular political opinions but I stay within the guidelines of this web site.
According to site rules this poster has been asked to clean it up , has ignored requests and has become even more vugar.
When I did it I separated the splashwell from the inside transom skin. They are "glued" together with resin filler. That was a pain. you could do as you are saying or extend your blue line across to the top of the cutout.. give me a call... 732 773-6690
Genie - I***8217;m considering adding electric winch to my boat trailer .
Do you use one and if so would you recommend it ?
I***8217;ll only go with powerful and durable unit
Step, what's the issue? Is your PM box full? If so delete some stuff and try again. Let me know what going on I'll try to help.
Hello everyone. I***8217;m new to the group and apologize if I***8217;m posting this on wrong part of site. Not too computer savy. I have an 86 v 20 project. I just took the fuel tank out witch caused a little deck damage due to foam around tank. I was wondering if anyone here has switched to a plastic moler tank, if they had luck with it and possibly if they no the model number. Hope to have it in this summer. Thanks
