winter cover

I use PVC to makea frame, then cover with big tarp, I just untie one corner and climb in.

Now I have to make a hole new frame for the new boat :-[

after 8 years I just got the other frame the way I wanted >:(

Here's mine.

One pole in the middle of the cockpit (he said pole AND cockpit).

Easily rolls back for working, then covers up just as simple.

It came with the boat. It is said to be a "custom" built cover. It is made of heavy canvass and it is reinforced on the corners and at the windshield.

Well if it was me, and I owned my own house I would buy one of them Carport things in the store with the sides, then it like a mini garage .

My 23 footer is kind of big for that now. :'(

That wouldn't last the winter season up here. Too many pockets to collect rain water and snow. The weight of the snow would probably tear right through at the support poles.

Good one RB ;D That is a nice looking cover. I bought a 24ft tarp over a year ago and its still ok but leaks a little. I need to replace it soon. What little bit of snow and ice we had last winter I went out and knocked it off before it built up. ;) I also have a gray motor cover too but you can't see it in the pic.

BLU:

THE LIFE SPAN OF THOSE TARPS DOWN HERE IS 6 MONTH TOPS, AND IF YOU BUY THE GOOD ONES (GREY HEAVY WEIGHT) YOU HAVE TO PAY OVER $100.00 SO I'M THINKING ON BUYING ONE IN CAVAS2COVER, WHADDAYA THINK?

Note that the covers being offered by Canvas2covers are not custom fit; they are semi-custom. I purchased one of these before, and they are only so-so. You just cannot beat a custom made cover, but the price is also quite high--probably $400-$600 depending on the fabric.
