I have a friend here in Pa. that does pinstriping,
next summer, he is going to replace mine.

If you call around to sign makers and or auto detailers,
they will know were to go in your area for that service.

If you can see some of his side work and it's up to par for you...I'd jump on it QUICK B4 he cahanges his mind ;) ...

Pinstripin' in Miami shouldn't be too hard to find...good body-shops or detail shops oughtta have somebody...custom boat shops, too, but expect them to be reel proud of their work...and if they're good, they should be ;) 8) ...

Lesterus...did you say they tore down Biscayne (SP?) Dog Track?...how long ago?...what's there now?...did surrounding neighborhood survive?...

Like Reel said, if you know the guy's work is good it sounds reasonable.

Where are you talking about pins stripes on your boat? Mine had them along top of the gunnels -- I got rid of them. Likewise the thick stripes above the waterline. However if you're talking about the thick stripes, I re-did them on my boat years ago (before the re-paint), got them from Boater's World I think, took my time and they came out fine.

I personally would pay it,
for me to do all that work myself would take months.

Just a quick calculation, if it takes him two weeks,
that is 80 manhours @ 40 / week.
The price is 700 for all, 700 / 80 = 8.75/hour including materials.

For around here that is cheap work, normally a price quoted by hacks, this guy is a pro I'd jump on that in a heartbeat. I would ask him while he is at it to do the top above rub rail with awl grip or similar. Unless all that is nice and tight already.
