Welcome to the new server

If you are reading these words, we have successfully migrated to the new server. Everything should be the same as it was on the old site with no loss of data whatsoever.

Please have a look around and make sure everything works. I think everything is functional, but there may be something I have missed. If you see a problem, let me know in this thread and I will try and work it out.

I think this is the fourth time I have moved this forum, with the first being the worst. It's funny how I have had so much to do with this site, and I don't even participate or own a Wellcraft! There are two reasons for that.

I first got involved because I am a close friend of the Maco Man and I did it to help him out.

These days I do it because I firmly believe that this site deserves to live on. I understand how important it is to have a resource where you can get information and compare notes with other like-minded enthusiasts. This community is something which could never be duplicated on Facebook, where fleeting nuggets of vital information are sandwiched between funny cat memes, quizzes revealing which Disney Princess you are, and your uncle Clyde ranting about politics. And good luck finding that needed information next week. It is here today and gone tomorrow!

In this community, you can find a discussion about repairing your boat or other needed knowledge that was posted a year or more ago. All you have to do is search.

So, once again, I am pleased to keep the party going. But now, I am tired. I think it is time for a cold one and to hit the hay.

Wow, this calls for a celebration! I've learned a lot in this process. For one I've learned what a great guy Valiant is for doing all this work for us. Not only that but you've probably noticed he has a good sense of humor too.

Looks like we have some celebrating to do! Cue the hi-five smilies!

:clap::sun::beer:

Huge thanks to Valiant, Jjuriga, Macojoe, and BigShrimpin!!

Because of you -w
e live on!!!!!!

I appreciate all involved.

I'm about as non tech minded as you can be and this is the only site I'm on besides checking out craigslist boats and a couple youtube channels I like.

If it comes down to needing a few bucks to keep the lights on or making someone's tech efforts worth it I'm glad to chip in.

Wow valiant thank you so much for keeping this great site active, but we as a community and wellcraft owners have a job to do , first is getting you to get a wellcraft steplift Thanks a lot for your take over This site helped me in so many ways Thanks again

Many thanks to valiant, mj, BR and all who keep this happening. I think valiant nailed it when he said there is value in a (non tangible) entity such as this. Great folks willing to help/participate just because...

Very happy to log in tonight and find the site up and running!

Rock on!

Bill

On my MAC...Got here using CHROME and googling wellcraftv20. :sun:

Safari on MAC keeps going to the old page. Tried deleting bookmark, clearing history and Preferences/Privacy/Cookies & website data/manage websites and Remove Wellcraftv20.com.....no help. Will post when I figure it out.:head:

Strangely, I can get to Gallery, History, and Links but not Forum.

Safari on iPhone got here by searching wellcraftv20. However, I noticed that my bookmark was gone due to my iphone syncing with my mac.

OK! Not sure what did it but..
From CHROME, I copied a link and posted it to the Facebook Page (The box that says "Learn More")
I redid everthing stated above and then rebooted the MAC.
Then in Safari I went to Facebook and clicked the link and it got me here (I had tried that before rebooting and it didn't work.)

This is the most seamless computer experience I've ever had. I shut off my IPad one night and when I opened the Wellcraft tab the next night, I was already logged in to the new server - it was like nothing had ever happened. If all of my computer experiences were like this, it'd take the hate out of the love/hate relationship:sun:

Good work guys wish I could have been more help but I got a lot of issues going on right now that you guys are not even aware of I don't post too much anymore I don't even have a boat anymore and I don't even fish anymore but I'll check in from time to time good luck everybody

Its weird, I cleared cookies and history on my phone, and restarted it. I got a notification email and clicked it from my phone. It still took me to the old site.

I know there have been some problems reaching the site on the new server due to cached pages. I know because I am still having problems myself using 2 different PC's. I found success using FireFox, but I'm still having trouble with Chrome and Internet Explorer. Putting this out there in case it helps someone else who is having trouble. Try Fire Fox.
