Two first in one trip

Water finally got warm enough to start wade fishing,77*, so I went Saturday. Usually I fish with live bait,but this time i was throwing a soft bait.

My first Spanish Mackeral of the year
& my first Pompano caught in the bay wading.

That cat loves to see me get out the filet knife. Just a yard cat that showed up 6 years ago, used to bring me mice, lizards, etc. Now just sleeps and waits for me to bring her food & fresh fish.

Makes me wonder who trained who
