Trailer Help

Cant seem to figure this out. I seem to be scraping something whenever I pull the boat up on to the trailer I think. Maybe hitting the frame before the bow hits the black rubber roller. Would moving the black roller farther back prevent the bow from striking the frame ?

moving it back and closer toghter so that the V gets in there and up before it hits the frame.

But you have more on the sides so I am thinking you are going between the rollers and scraping the hog ring holding the roller on??

Again making them closer toghter will get the bow up on the roller faster to stop this.

I will try to measure how wide mine are tomorrow.

Hmmmm, I loaded a V-20 on that trailer 125 or so times and the previous owner did so for years before me without a single scrape. Obviously we are doing something different. We always used the power winch and backed the trailer so only the tires and maybe a piece of wheel was under water. We never backed down far enough to wet the axle. If your going in deeper (something I'm not familiar with ::)) that migght be the problem?

Been backing the trailer into the water until its almost to the height of the bearing. Never see where it hits. Leaving a gouge sometimes as well.
Nothing that a little bit of sanding and touch up paint wont fix, but she has me wondering here.
Thanks.
