Took The Boat

Shop called yesterday...T & T FIXED!!...last major hurdle crossed...the shop is up near Lake Bowen, so took other props to try to get tach up closer to the 5800 RPMs I'm tryin' to meet...had a 21P on it and gettin' only 5200...had 17 & 19P props to try...went for the 19 and WOT got me 5700 on the tach...close enough!!...once the chipped bottom paint gets smoothed out and repainted, hopefully it'll net a little more, but I think this is the prop...I have new FF/Plotter combo to install...when I get it in, I'll post up some speed@RPM numbers...this motor LOVES to run @ WOT!!...boat is very responsive to trim input...up goes the foot and UP goes the tach!!...which reinforces my thought the motor needs to be raised another notch...no rush, we'll get to it soon enough...

Hope you went early while it was warm and not raining...or did the front move thtough there this morning?

Funny you mention that...shop and lake are in north of Sptbg county...all the way up there we were lookin' at a very dark, looming sky...saying this might not be a wet test, but only retrieval from the shop...anyway, the front stayed put and let us be...we didn't get but as spit of rain, late in the afternoon...hope you got some good of it!!...
