Destroyer
God
Hey everyone. Anyone need/looking for a V20? I have to let mine go (wife is after me to sell it because I never use it because I use my V21 all the time.) So here's the good the bad and the ugly.
The good: The boat is free. It's a V20 with a solid hull, no soft spots in the floor or transom that I can see. It has a Johnson 200 HP looper engine. Hull in not painted. 20" transom. Oh, and did I mention that the boat is free. Boat comes with all bill of sale, registration and title papers.
The bad: The engine has some minor issues. All carb related. I tried to change from oil injection to per-mix and somehow screwed up the vacuum hoses... anyway she doesn't idle properly right now. So whoever gets it will probably need to redo the hoses and linc and sync the carbs. I don't really know and don't have the time to do it. But she's a STRONG engine and set properly will move that boat to 50-55 mph. There is no trailer for the boat. So you will need to have one or I can sell you the one that she sits on for a very cheap price. But I'm NOT trying to sell the trailer, I just understand that someone might need one.
The ugly: The boat is in NJ so if you want it and live in California or thereabouts it's going to be a hell of a commute. I'm willing to trailer the boat a reasonable amount of distance for just the cost of gas.
If anyone is interested let me know before I put her up for sale locally
