But it sure was fun reading when green posted against Trump !

Speaking of Trump, I for one are not pleased with his tariffs and related increasing inflation that he said he’d attack on day one.

I think his intentions are good but they are costing the middle class much more money. Doesn’t he see that? He should have tackled one thing at a time.
Deport all illigals
Lower energy ( gas. Oil )
And try to end that war in Russia and Ukraine
These tariffs are not going good not at all. I hope we are wrong and he knows what he is doing.
I was just thinking ( I do that some times) how one person can affect so many lives. Regardless of who the president is. Biden on day one shut down the pipe lines and open 5he borders. One person did that.
Increase tariffs causeing the stock market to take a dive and costing us more money. One person did that.
It’s crazy. I should be president. On day one no more registrations for boats. No more fishing licenses free free free
Lower gas. No more state gas tax. We pay government taxes so why state tax? More for the state to steal.
Vote for me and I will set you free.

This sites political forum is separate from the other topics so I don’t see how this could scare people off.
Trump had previously said “ any President that causes the stock market to drop 1,000 pts two days in a row should be impeached !!
So do you think he’ll quit Step ?
 
Hey DD, I have to say I'm not understanding why you would make a post titled "This forum isn't popular." Why would you post that? Since you've been lurking for a while you know this forum is on the upswing with the new makeover and improvements. Seems like a petty dig at Admin and insult to the members? Curious to hear your reply because I'm having a hard time understanding why you are still here since you do not really think much of the forum?
 
We can’t take this to seriously , someone said you can’t please all the people all the time. Who was that? Mick jagger from The Rolling Stones or was it you can’t always get what you want ?
Give president Trump. a Chance. He is only president for two months and has to undo the previous miss takes from Biden. He is doing what he said he would do. That’s crazy,a president actually does what he campaigned on what is this world coming to.
If I was president. I would give all the V20 owners $20.000 to get there boats showroom condition. Then my second thing would be to lower squid prices. ( great for bait ) after that. Who cares.

Blue …… several posts commenting that they stay off Political Forum, that it creates dissent, that green was kicked off but others that made worse comments allowed to stay etc etc …..
So, fair to say this forum not too popular !
Is the site required to have a political forum ?
It’s a bit humorous because the forum is here so posts to be expected ?

As for President, Step may decide to make a run for the White House in 2028 !!!
 
I haven't seen several posts as you described, but the fact is I deleted your Bgreene's nastiest posts before anyone ever had a chance to read them. Maybe that is one reason why some might not understand? Possibly?

The site is not required to have anything other than what the forum owner/manager/admin wants it to have. I have no idea what you are saying is humorous but I am not finding anything funny in this thread. Pretty sure MJ would not find anything funny either.

At the end of the day we're just a bunch of V20 (&V21) guys trying to share good information and brotherly fellowship.

One thing about Greene he had a nice boat and sold it. But if you look closely at that boat there were a lot of flaws he missed. His political views were a little twisted and it showed on his boat. The V21 he sold. “
 
I’m exceptionally grateful to Blue and the others who got the new site going. It was nearly dead. It’s great to see old members returning and new guys coming on board. It’s a good feeling to pop on at night and find new posts every day.

I got my V-20 in ‘05, not running and joined the site the same day. The knowledge and generosity sharing it (special thanks to Spareparts) of the guys here has gotten me through some repairs that had my head exploding.
 
Trump hasn't been in office for 100 days yet. Give the man a chance. Inflation is dropping and is now at 2.4%. Oil is below $60 a barrel, Eggs are at half of what they were a few months ago. He's closed the border and is building the wall, He's deporting criminals. Yes, the tariff thing is going to hurt a little, but then again, he ran on raising it and making the tariff playing field level and he's doing what he promised. DOGE has found and returned billion$ of dollars with more to come, as well as lots of fraud and corruption that Biondi is looking into. All in all I'm very pleased with 99% of President Trumps actions. I'm a little worried about the tariff war with China, so lets hope and pray it all works out. He's done more in less than 100 days than Biden did in 4 years.
And this website ROCKS. Well done Blue. Well done!

I was going to mention in my last post that you gave the old site a boost with your “Where is everyone” post. You’ve been a solid guy here for as long as long as I can remember. It’s good to hear from you.

I agree with you about Trump. Most of the media comments about what he’s doing are ignorant of negotiating strategies, along with irrational derangement syndrome 🤓. My biggest China tariff concern is that their economic collapsing could make them so desperate that they would attack Taiwan as a distraction and a way to rally nationalism to save the regime. China in control of Taiwan’s leading edge chip technology could be a disaster for the world, both due to their access to the tech and that they would probably do huge damage to innovation and simply having them in control of the resource.

With our national debt service now greater than our defense budget, DOGE may be the key to our national survival.

Lots for reasonable people to agree on about Trump’s performance. And all this as the popularity of our V-20 site regrows😎🤗.
 
Guess I’m from the “ show me state “ because our 401 K isn’t happy with Trump yet.
Actual gas station prices are higher now, and every day seems “ chaos” of one type or another.
Let’s hope he doesn’t do something worse.

We can turn our boats very quickly, a huge ship takes a lot longer. Our economy and the mess we’re in is huge. I’m hopeful that the apology holds. I understand your concern, but given the scale of what he’s dealing with, it’s early days.

Only thing I'm worried about is China thinking they have enough to win an actual war with us. Truth is, without nukes they just might, and if that happens then it's going to be the end or everyone. I don't think Trump will hesitate to use the football. For that matter China might use the nuke option first which would force our subs to respond in turn. Each boomer has 24 tubes, each tube has one missile. Each missile has 7 MIRV's. There are 17 subs that I know of....and that doesn't count any of our land or ship based weapons. Do the math. Russia and China are allies. Russia has more nukes than we do. We are in some very dangerous times. There's the equivalent of a division of chinese already in our country thanks to Biden's open borders. Over 29,000, and there most definitely was a reason they were buying farmland right near our military bases.
