That Pretty Boat is For Sale

That thing is amazing! 20k is a lot of coin but I don't think you could buy anything nicer for 20k. A newer boat....yes but not refitted like this thing.
Honestly I would be afraid to use it.

she was done right! That owner is definitely leading the pack by example!

But, to love a boat as much as he to put the great detail into it... then to sell.. why?
there are more pics from last year when it was at Moby Dicks... she is a sweetie!!

If I happen to see Eddie while I'm down at Moby's I'll inquire as to why he's selling it.

I heard that Eddie purchased a 26' center console (Bluefin?) that's the reason for the sale of this beauty.

Hope he gets it. Makes me feel a little better about doing mine.
That's a dilemma. I really want to finish mine...stringers, Black paint, some custom things I dream about... but I know I'll never get it back. I am on the fence about moving up to a 24'-25' to get me to the canyons on nice days. If I go forward with the V20, that will be my boat for another 10 yrs at least. I've owned it for 17 years.

Something I've come to learn is that it costs about the same to fix up a cheaper boat as it does a nice one. A 23 to 25 footer you're gonna spend more on rigging, engines, etc, but paint, glasswork and such would not be a determining factor I feel price wise. Ths way I see it Skunk is you are right on the border. Spend a little more and your V will be the absolute nicest 20 footer 40 miles offshore or move up and spend more to fish the way you want more days out of the year. You gotta think about the money, time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears you already have in her you'll never get out when you sell, plus whatever else you'll have to put into the next one. It's a boat and even if brand new, custom ordered with all the options you want, it'll still cost you in small nickel and dime stuff.

If it were me I'd come off a few thousand or more and dance with the girl you brought.

I agree with Skunk and Bradford true true true. Lets face it the two most happiest days of having a boat is the day you buy and the day you sell!!!!!!!!!!:head:

Im actually tempted. Ive been in the market for a new boat. I could have this with a brand new motor, kicker, trolling motor and electronics for less than 30k

brand new fiberglass equivalent with all that stuff added is 60k+

I wonder if he added any livewells when he re did it

James,
My good friend (he bought my old V 20) and I talked long and hard about buying it. In the end we both decided to keep our old beaten up V 20's.

I'd buy it, but it would look like the one i have in 6 months. I never noticed the hatch just outside of the cabin, is it factory? I added one to mine, but just used a tempress hatch.
