Still Curious

Ok, New year, and we all have had a chance to look a little more closely at the Republican candidates. Some have dropped out, some are lagging so far behind that it's doubtful they will last, and others are surging. SO, the same question as before. And remember this is an informal poll,. There is no need to justify your selection. I'm just curious as to who likes who . Call this round two if you will.

If the election was held today, who would you vote for? First and second choices please.

Rand Paul 1st with Cruz a distant 2nd. Cruz copies Rand WAY to much, and has initially supported legislations that were AWFULL, and I just couldn't support him fully because of his flip flopping. And depending on which poll you check, besides Trump it's a tossup. I actually had a phone poll call a few weeks ago, and they refused to accept Paul as my choice, and made me select between Trump, Carson, Cruz, and Rubio. So keep that in mind when you see poll results.

When I brought it up again Ranger the beagle says he'd rather just lick his crotch.

When I mentioned politics to Sable the pit mix she said "GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!"

That sounds like my kids. The 3 year old was drinking out of the toilet while the 7 month old growled at me.

OK, it's down to 4 and time to get serious. So, if the election were held today, who would you vote for?

Cruz
Trump
Sanders
Clinton

None of the above

I'm definately NOT voting for the old socialists, I can't bring myself to vote for the guy who's been a democrat for most of his life and who has many of the same views as mr give me give me feel the Bern, but of those left Cruz is the only one I could stomach voting for. Theres ALOT I don't like about him, but of those left running, he's the only one I can get behind. I know many don't agree with my choice to not support the Trump, but oh well. I don't buy his empty promises that change daily, nor his complete 180's so many times in his life, or his voting for obama in 08(theres more than enough videos of him admitting this) then turning around whe he decided he wanted to be a republican and demanding to see his birth certificate, I just don't buy into his BS. And I've already been disowned by part of my family because I won't follow in line with my cousins behind my dads brother and fully support Trump.

Looks like you need to narrow your field some destroyer, Cruz just suspended his campaign after losing Indiana. I don't know if I can stomach voting for Trump even if it is to block hildebeast. If you put ANY faith at all in the polls, hillary will be our next president.

Yes, Unfortunately, I watched the same thing on TV of him dropping out of the race. Not a hell of a lot of choices left. Kasick doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell, so it's Trump. (Ugh).. I completely agree with yo about his flip-flops, To me he's just Hillary in mans drag. Still, he's NOT Hillary, that in itself gets my vote. I'll be dammed if I do nothing and don't vote. That's just giving the race to that biatch, and there's no way in heaven I'll let that happen by not voting. So Trump it is, even though I'd much rather have Cruz-Fiorina than Trump. <sigh>

There are none so blind as those that will not see. If Trumps supporters would have just taken the time to research his record, instead of just listening to his BS... But all they heard was build a wall and deport the illegals and "I'll bring jobs back". God, how ignorant they are....

This is the best description of Trump vs Sanders I have seen, and it says ALOT!

I'm still waiting for Ashton Kutcher to come out and tell us we've all been Punk'd. Then the real candidates pop out the back and ease all our stresses. Unfortunately I think we're stuck with one of these knuckleheads. Believe I'll pass on voting this year. My kids love hockey so maybe we'll head north of the border.

Not disagreeing with anyone about the fundamentals, but I'm with Destroyer. If you feel about Hillary like we do, you've got to swallow it and vote for Trump.

On the positive side, his ego is so huge that I don't think he'll be intimidated by anyone and he clearly knows how to negotiate. No one builds the business he's built if they're as off the wall as he comes across in some of his speeches. He clearly knows how to guide the ship and hire experts to help him get the job done.

If Hillary isn't going to be the next president, we need to get enthused about getting ourselves and anyone we can influence to vote. Anything I'm concerned about Trump doing (health care, not supporting 2nd amendment, etc.), I KNOW she'll do or try to do. If we can't get excited about Trump we need to get excited about "never Hillary".
